How much do the updates cost?
Nothing. Once you have the 2fS in your hands, all updates are free of charge. However, data processing is done online, which means that service does carry an annual fee—though the first year is included with the system purchase.
Can I process drone videos together with ground captures from the 2fS?
Yes, the data processing software (2fSCloud) allows you to include videos captured by drone or from the ground and automatically integrate them with the 2fS 3D scans.
The only requirement is that there’s an overlapping area captured by both the scanner and the drone or camera footage. This way, a single complete 3D model of the entire environment can be generated.
What are the steps to scan with the 2fS?
Take the scanner out of the case and connect it to the tablet with the USB-C cable.
Launch the XVSApp software and begin capturing. Walk around the object or space you want to capture, being careful not to miss any areas of interest. When finished, save the project.
Right there in the scanning area, or already in the office, and on the same tablet or PC, as preferred, open the 2fSCloud software. Choose the processing options (high, medium, or low resolution, targets used), and send the project. The sending, processing, and receiving process can take about 30 minutes for 10-minute captures at normal resolution.
The user receives an email with the download link and can use the models to generate their orthophotos, sections, measurements, etc. 2Freedom helps users, even at this stage, achieve what they need through included training and highly personalized, exceptional support.
