2fSlam is a portable scanner designed for professionals seeking maximum versatility in 3D scanning.
The lightweight 2fSlam scanner features cutting-edge technology inside a robust cylindrical casing with a protective magnetic cap. Its minimalist design allows for use in multiple positions, adapting perfectly to the specific needs of any digitization project.
The 2fSlam scanner delivers millimeter-level precision when scanning complex environments — with outstanding ease of use. It generates textured point clouds, hyper-realistic 3D meshes, and orthophotos. Using targets, models can be automatically georeferenced, allowing you to compare scans across different time periods or environments. The included processing software allows you to import video captured from any ground-based or aerial camera, making 2fSlam more accessible and versatile than ever.
Weighing just 700 grams, the 2fSlam portable scanner is the lightest in its category, enabling extended fieldwork without fatigue.
Capture 3D models with millimeter precision and high-resolution detail — ideal for technical documentation, structural analysis, pathology, safety inspections, and any project requiring maximum dimensional accuracy.
Compatible with drones, video cameras, and traditional surveying equipment, it enables hybrid digitization projects that combine multiple data capture sources.

2fSlam is a handheld scanner that enables free movement: you can approach the object, walk around it, and move freely to fully document any object or environment.
2fSlam delivers millimeter-level accuracy at close range, while also capturing data from distances of over 40 meters.
It supports mobile scanning while walking and allows the use of Ground Control Points (GCPs), so your measurements stay accurate and aligned with your required coordinate system.

2fSlam allows you to walk and scan with high precision and versatility, thanks to its advanced sensor suite.
It features a high-resolution camera with a global shutter sensor — eliminating distortions during movement — along with a Visual SLAM camera and an inertial measurement unit (IMU).
This ensures motion control and consistent scan quality, even while in motion.
2fSlam requires no prior experience or high-performance computers.
The process is simple, and everything is handled in the cloud.
For large enterprises or public administrations, we also offer local server deployment options.

2fSlam is a portable 3D scanner developed by 2Freedom that uses videogrammetry and Visual SLAM technologies to generate point clouds and three-dimensional models with millimeter precision.
With 2fSlam, it is possible to obtain high-density, high-precision 3D models suitable for applications in construction, engineering, heritage, mining, or forensic documentation. Results include point clouds, textured meshes, and orthoimages.
2fSlam is a portable scanner developed by 2Freedom to obtain the best results through high-precision videogrammetry. It incorporates two high-quality industrial cameras and an IMU. The camera sensors are global shutter type, allowing the user to move without distorting the image, which is optimal for videogrammetry. This 3D scanner is designed for sectors that require high resolution and image quality, such as heritage, archaeology, construction, mining, infrastructure, and security.
2fVideomodeling is software that processes videos recorded with any camera, drone, or mobile device, making it more versatile and accessible. Although the accuracy is not as high as that of 2fSlam, the 3D results are very similar in appearance and level of visual detail.
The data is uploaded to a web platform, from where it is securely transferred to 2Freedom’s local servers for processing.
It is stored for 15 days in case technical support is needed, after which it is permanently deleted. For special customers and administrations, 2freedom provides local servers for data processing.
Yes. 2fSlam can operate without an internet connection during capture, allowing data to be recorded in any environment. However, an internet connection is required to upload the data to the server.
The system achieves sub-centimeter accuracy (often millimeters), depending on environmental conditions and distance to the scanned object.
Accuracy can be influenced by lighting, reflections, distance to the object, or sudden movements of the scanner during capture. It is recommended to maintain a smooth trajectory and consistent lighting conditions. Using ground control points with precise coordinates will facilitate the achievement of high accuracy in complex or more extensive environments.
Although not mandatory, the 2fSlam has a specific calibration file, created at the 2fsmal factory, which must be incorporated into the processing software to optimize the accuracy of the results.
It is recommended to perform an annual recalibration of the system, which will be carried out by your authorized distributor or directly by 2Freedom. System calibration involves the issuance of a calibration certificate issued by 2freedom.
In low-light environments, it is advisable to use artificial light sources that ensure uniform visibility. In very bright areas, it is recommended to adjust the system’s exposure and gain parameters to avoid burnt images. In general, it is preferable to maintain uniform lighting and avoid direct reflections or overexposed areas.
2fSlam generates results in standard formats compatible with most 3D programs: point clouds in .LAS and textured meshes in .PLY.
As 2Freedom are the developers of the system, other export formats, such as .OBJ or .E57, can also be enabled according to customer requirements.
The 2fSlam saves scan data directly to the tablet connected to the device. Therefore, the maximum recording time depends exclusively on the storage capacity available on that tablet.
Under normal conditions, continuous scans lasting over an hour have been performed without technical limitations or interruptions during capture.
Customers have access to direct technical support, personalized training, remote assistance, continuous updates, and access to advanced documentation and training sessions. At 2freedom, we are committed to providing quality support and helping our customers and distributors in all phases and with any questions they may have during the adoption of this technology.
